The extremely fast pace of technological developments during the past century has been unprecedented in human history. Latest is the “Artificial Intelligence” based ChatGPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer). There is no getting away with it. We must understand its structure, capabilities and limitations to get the best out of it, we have to live with it now. Everyone, particularly the Muslims and Ulema have to master this new technological field of knowledge aimed to counter any anti Islamic use of this technology and to harness it as an information and knowledge tool to promote Islamic values for development and progress of society.
